Craig ran upthe marble staircase pass the great hourglasses all the way to the 7th floor, flew past the portrait of the Fat Lady, who horted at him, across from the tapestry of the Ballet Dancing Trolls.
"I need a place to chill, where we won't get caught..." Craig said this 3 times. And the wall squeezed forth a double wooden door carved with the crest of the Eagle, Badger, Lion and Snake. Craig stepped forward and opened the doors. In the room was a elegant clash of the four house colors and elmblems. Over the roaring fire there was a glass case on the mantel encasing a swoard with rubies, a locket-its inner glass shattered, fragments of what looked like a tiara, and a golden cup with a acid hole burned in its face. Otherwise it looked like a larger common room. It was perfect

Carter was walking up the Grand Staircase to the 7th floor where Craig had told him to meet. As he walked into the corridor, he found the tapestry, and looked at the opposite wall. What he saw was quite a site. It was a huge door, that he never remember being there before. He walked slowly toard it and opened it slightly, just to fit through.
He walked in and saw that the room was filled with things that each used to belong to the founders of the school. Each wall had the colors of the houses, but with the help of magic, they didn't clash. There were beanbags littering the floor, and huge fireplace with two big armchairs in front of it, too. Carter started to run and then jumped into a huge beanbag. "Where'd you figure out about this place?" he asked Craig amusedly.

"Well, I just found out I was a Wizard a week or two before I came here. So I got as many extra books as I could. And one was Hogwarts: A Better History. And it talks about The Room Of Requierment. Right before the chapter on SPEW...some weird orginization for House Elves. But nobody reads books like that-so I think we're pretty secure. Especially what directions I gave it." Craig smiled, and fiddled with his wand. "I do a lot of reading...I was pretty sure on Ravenclaw-but I don't mind." He smiled again.
The Fire crackled-and Craig noticed no logs were in the grate. It was blue-bell fire. That was a very cool trick. Craig would have to perfect it. Along with getting the handle on Lumos.

"That's cool. I'm full blood, so I've known about the school for a few years now. I think I read some of that book when I was 10, but I don't remember much about it, so that's probably why I don't remember about the Room Of Requirment." Carter said. "So, I hope this isn't a rude question or anything, but how do you get around with those...those, moblieauto things?" Carter asked, confused.

"Cars?" Craig said helpfully and he went into the delicate intricisies of the combustion engine and four, front and two wheel drive. Then went on to a/c winsheild whipers and for good measure the Subway. "And you pay, then get off when it reaches your stop." he said concluding on a note in where he smiled. Knowing only about half the information had sunk in and it was only that if you sat in the car, filled it with gas, and turned the car on and turned the wheel and turned it to the P on PRNDL then you would go. Craig found himself silently praying Carter would never attempt to drive.
"And how do you get around on those...Stickbroom thingy's" he said jokingly at Carters question about Cars.

As Craig went through the instructions on how a car works, and then something about a Subway, Carter only got about a third of it. "Well, it just seems so slow when you can just use Floo Powder. Oh, and definatley a whole lot harder. You do know what Floo Powder is, right?" he asked, cautiously, even though if he had to explain it, it really wasn't that hard too.
"And how do you get around on those...Stickbroom thingy's"
"And as for broomsticks, I've only riden on one a couple of times, and it was a Comet Sixty-Two, so it was slow."

"Floo Powder isn't for me...But i'd love a go on a broomstick! They seem really cool. I'm probabbly going to sign up for the lessons for it...otherwise i'll fall off and break something." Craig had broken bones before. But then he remembered. "Oh...I almost forgot. I bought a broom in Diagon Alley with some extra gold the man gave me. It's something call a Nimbus? Is that a good company?" He asked...knowing all about cars-but a broom was a broom to him.

"Oh...I almost forgot. I bought a broom in Diagon Alley with some extra gold the man gave me. It's something call a Nimbus? Is that a good company?"
Carter was really excited to hear that. "Ooo! A Nimbus! Was it a 2000 or a 2001? They are both great brooms, but neither beats a Firebolt, its basically the greatest broom of all, it goes up to 150 miles an hour, in ten seconds! And each of the Birch twigs in the back are individually picked! It has an unbreakable braking charm on it, too!"Carter said, not really saying anything about the Nimbus. "But the Nimbus brand easily comes in 2nd to the Firebolt, so you probably have one of the best brooms here in the school, I don't think anybody has a Firebolt."

"Thanks. I think I might try out for Quidditch." Craig fiddled with his wand, sending red sparks across the room. I think i'm gunna fly it tommorrow if you want a go on it you can." After what an assinie way he was earlier-plus the night of chilling-he owed a ride

"I think i'm gunna fly it tommorrow if you want a go on it you can."
"Thanks! That'd be great! I don't think I'll try out for Quidditch just yet, though. Maybe in our 2nd year, though." he said. At the sight of the red sparks from Craigs wand, Carter took out his own. "Do you know any spells yet, I've only figured out Lumos, and Alohamora." he asked.

"You mean like..." he pointed his wand at Carter again. "Locomotor Mortis!...or" he pointed his wand at the multicolored banner above the manle, "Fulgeo Fucus." The banner flashed Red and Gold, then Blue and Grey, then Yellow and Black, and then Silver and Green. It continued to flash brilliant colors. "Yeah, I think I know a few spells."

Craig did it again, and instantly Carter stood up and his legs were locked in place, although this time is wasn;t so frightening, he laughed insteand. "Thanks! Now make it stop again!" He said, laughing. He wobbled a bit from side to side, but not as much as last time. "I...like how that...banner changed...colors." he said, pausing as he wobbled back and forth.

Craig sent more red sparks. His spells didn't bind well. He heard the squelch as his legs loosened their grip on one another. He also sent a jet of blue-bell flames onto the hearth rug-which didn't burn. "Can't wait till we learn more spells."

Carter droppeb back onto the ground and watched as Craig flew more spells. "Jeeze, if no one knew, they'd think you were pure-blood and I was muggle-born, although that wouldn't really matter anyways, people still call Hermione Granger the greatest witch of her age and she was muggle-born" he told Craig.

Professor OBrien walked past the portrait of the Fat Lady in the Pink Dress. She seemed hawty and disgruntled tonight. "Students running down to the dancing trolls corridor. Honestly, in my day! They wouldn't dare...rapscalions..." she continued to rant as Sean walked down the corridior and saw that the blank stretch of wall across from the portrait seemed darker than usual. It was holding something back. Sean knew no magic would work on this place...but he did know what would "I need to get in there with the children already in..." he repeated it 3 times-and a double door appeared with the crest...and Sean opened the doors.
